1. SMR – Spherically Mounted Reflector. Standard Laser tracker accessory used in applications such as levelling, layout marking. (Availabe : Laser Tracker AT960 , AT403, ATS600)
2. Leica T Probe – Leica T Probe is perfect for probing of components and reaching areas that are not accessible by the SMR. The T probe also supports in creating features with edges for dimensions such a radiuses and diameters, GD&Ts such a Circularity, parallelism and Runouts, etc. It is the perfect tool for complex measurement on Geometric Profiles. 3. AS1 Scanner – Wherever there is a profile that is nongeometric in nature and inspection needs to be done to compare the profile against the profile in the CAD model, 3D Scanners are the best solution. WHAT IS THE RANGE OF OUR LECIA LASER TRACKER?

Laser tracker’s accuracy and range usually depend upon the number of times the Laser tracker is shifted.

1, Laser Tracker AT 960 has the capability to measure up to 20m with SMR and 10m with T-probe without shifting. With shifting the range of measurement can go up to 100m.

2, Laser Tracker AT 403 has the capability to measure up to 160m with SMR without shifting.

3, Laser Tracker ATS 600 has the capability to measure up to 80m with SMR and Scanner up to 80m without shifting.

 

HOW TO DECIDE WHEN TO USE A LASER TRACKER RATHER THAN A PORTABLE CMM.

HPT having both the Laser Trackers and Portable CMMs have an experience that any part which exceeds the length of 4-5m is preferred inspected using a Laser tracker.

From the range of 5m up to 100m, laser trackers are the best solution.
